Bilmekte fayda var

  • Adults weigh as little as 2 kg.
  • Named after Singapore, where the founding cats were found in the 1970s.
  • Only one colour is recognised: sepia agouti, a warm ivory ticked with brown.

Kime uygun

Owners who want a small, busy, people-centred cat and live somewhere warm or well heated.

Bakım

Easy coat care. Keep the cat warm — there is very little of it to hold heat.

Irkın tarihi

Presented as a street cat of Singapore found in the 1970s, though records later showed the founding cats had been taken there from the United States. Singapore adopted it as a national mascot regardless, and the cats themselves are unarguably small and charming.
