小知识

Born from an accidental mating of a Burmese and a chinchilla Persian in Britain in 1981.
The tipped coat gives a sparkling effect over a pale undercoat.
Keeps the Burmese temper in a quieter form.

适合人群

日常护理

Weekly brushing, twice weekly for the longhaired variety. No special needs otherwise.

品种历史

The same 1981 accident in Britain that began the Asian group produced four silver-shaded kittens of such quality that a separate programme grew around them. The breed takes its name from its two parents, the Burmese and the chinchilla.
