小知识
- Preserves the shape Siamese cats had before show breeding slimmed them down.
- Known in Thailand as the Wichienmaat.
- Recognised as a separate breed in Europe and North America since the 1990s.
适合人群
People who want Siamese company and conversation in a hardier, less extreme body.
日常护理
Very little grooming. Give it company: like the Siamese, it does badly alone all day.
品种历史
As Western show breeding made the Siamese ever slimmer through the 20th century, the older rounder cat was left behind. Breeders in Europe and America gathered the remaining traditional cats from the 1980s and registered them under the country's modern name.
