معلومات مفيدة
- Named after an island it has no connection with, following the Balinese naming joke.
- Registries disagree over whether it is a separate breed or a division of the Balinese.
- Lacks an undercoat, so the coat lies close and sheds lightly.
لمن تناسب
Owners at home much of the day who want a vocal, affectionate shadow.
العناية
Comb twice a week. Never leave it alone for long stretches — it takes solitude badly.
تاريخ السلالة
Bred in North America from the 1970s as a longhaired Oriental in colours the Balinese standard did not allow. Registries have shuffled it about ever since: some treat it as its own breed, others as a division of the Balinese or the Oriental Longhair.
