تاريخ السلالة
New England's own cat, and the subject of tall tales about raccoons and ship's cats belonging to Marie Antoinette. What is documented is that it was a popular show cat in the 1860s, fell out of fashion, and was rebuilt into one of the world's most popular breeds a century later.
