Geschichte der Rasse
Jungle cats and domestic cats have interbred along the Nile for thousands of years. Deliberate crossing began in the United States in the 1960s and 70s, and the breed was accepted for registration in 1995 as a way of keeping wild jungle cats out of people's homes.
