- Many Bengals enjoy water and will join you at the tap or the bath.
- Generations away from the wild parent are counted; most pets are F4 or later.
À qui ça convient
Owners who want an athletic, demanding cat and will provide climbing, puzzles and daily play.
Entretien
A weekly brush is plenty. The real work is exercise: without it the cat finds trouble of its own.
Histoire de la race
Jean Mill crossed a domestic cat with an Asian leopard cat in California in the 1960s, partly to see whether a domestic cat could carry the wild pattern and partly to undercut the trade in wild cat fur. The programme was rebuilt in the 1980s from Indian and Asian imports.
