Bon à savoir
- Built from Munchkin, Sphynx, Devon Rex and Burmese lines from 1998.
- Fur is thickest on the points — face, ears, legs and tail — and sparse on the body.
- Still rare, and not accepted by every registry.
À qui convient-elle ?
Experienced owners who understand the debates around short legs and hairlessness.
Entretien
Wipe the skin weekly, keep the cat warm, and choose furniture it can reach without jumping far.
Histoire de la race
Paul McSorley began the breed in Boston in 1998, crossing Munchkins with Sphynx and adding Devon Rex and Burmese. The first cat of the intended type was born in 2000, and the breed remains rare and not universally recognised.
