알아 두면 좋은 점
- Better known in some registries as the Maine Coon's plainer cousin in type, though it is its own line.
- Bred for an even temper rather than an extreme look.
- Comes in a very wide range of colours and patterns.
잘 맞는 가정
Families who want an undemanding cat that is neither clingy nor aloof.
관리 방법
Comb twice a week to keep the longer coat from matting behind the legs and under the arms.
품종의 역사
Longhaired kittens kept appearing in American Shorthair litters, and rather than discard them breeders in the mid-20th century set them aside as a line of their own. Recognition has been patchy, and registries still disagree about where it belongs.
