알아 두면 좋은 점
- Legend ties the breed to temple cats of Burma; the modern line was rebuilt in France.
- The white gloves must be even — it is the point breeders are judged on hardest.
- Kittens are born white and colour up over weeks.
잘 맞는 가정
Quiet households wanting a calm, affectionate cat that is neither loud nor demanding.
관리 방법
Comb twice a week; the silky coat has little undercoat and mats less than a Persian's.
품종의 역사
The story tells of temple cats in Burma whose white coats turned golden at the touch of a dying priest. What is certain is that a pair reached France in 1919 and that the line nearly died out in the Second World War, leaving two cats from which the whole breed was rebuilt.
