알아 두면 좋은 점
- Spots sit on the hairs themselves, not just on the skin beneath.
- Has a loose flap of skin from flank to knee, which lengthens its stride.
- Clocked at speeds over 30 miles an hour.
잘 맞는 가정
Owners who can offer space to sprint and who want a shy-but-devoted cat rather than a social butterfly.
관리 방법
Easy coat care. Introduce strangers slowly: the breed is famously reserved with people it does not know.
품종의 역사
Spotted cats appear on Egyptian tomb paintings three thousand years old. The modern breed owes its existence to Nathalie Troubetskoy, a Russian exile who took three Egyptian cats with her to Italy and then to the United States in 1956.
