품종의 역사

The skogkatt appears in Norse legend and lived on Norwegian farms for centuries. Crossbreeding with domestic cats nearly absorbed it by the 1930s; a preservation programme begun before the war and resumed after it saved the type, and King Olav V named it the national cat.
