알아 두면 좋은 점

Early generations are among the largest domestic cats, standing over 40 cm at the shoulder.
Ownership is restricted or banned in some countries and US states.
Many enjoy water and will get into a shower or bath.

잘 맞는 가정

Experienced owners with space, time and legal clearance; later generations suit family life better.

관리 방법

Confirm local law first. Provide high climbing, a secure garden run, and a high-protein diet.

품종의 역사

The first serval-domestic kitten was born in 1986 to a Bengal breeder's cat in Pennsylvania, and was named Savannah. Judee Frank and Patrick Kelley built a breeding programme around her, and the breed was accepted for registration in 2001.
