Histoire de la race
Joe Smith, a Munchkin breeder, crossed short-legged cats with Persians in the 1990s and called the result the Napoleon. The breed was renamed Minuet in 2015, and cats with standard legs are bred alongside short-legged ones to keep the line healthy.
