Care
Very little grooming. The real requirement is company and play.
History of the breed
British breeders received Burmese stock from America in the 1940s and then went their own way, allowing red, cream and tortoiseshell and breeding for a less compact head. By the 1950s the two lines were different enough to be judged apart.
