If you’re near the breeder, you can arrange an in-person visit. If you’re far away, you can request a video call or extra photos and videos before buying.
Which countries can I buy a kitten from?
The platform works with buyers worldwide. Breeders specify which countries they’re able to ship to.
Is the site available in different languages?
Yes, you can switch the site’s language and communicate with the breeder in whichever language works for you.
How much does a kitten cost?
Each listing’s price is set by the breeder and depends on the breed, pedigree, and age.
How does payment work?
The buyer and breeder arrange payment directly between themselves. The platform isn’t involved.
How is the kitten delivered if I’m far from the breeder?
The breeder and buyer discuss and choose the delivery method together, depending on distance and country.
Can I message multiple breeders at once?
Yes, you can contact as many breeders as you’d like and compare offers.
Can I find a shelter kitten on KittensNest?
Yes, the platform has kittens from both breeders and shelters.
Is delivery included in the kitten’s price?
Check with the breeder ahead of time. The price may cover only the kitten itself, with transport and other costs discussed separately.
How do I reserve a kitten?
Reserving is arranged directly with the seller. Open the kitten’s page, message the seller through KittensNest, and agree everything between you — including any deposit and whether it can be returned. KittensNest does not take deposits, hold money, or reserve any kitten on your behalf.
Are sellers verified?
No. KittensNest does not verify sellers and does not check listings, pedigrees, registration papers or health records. Everyone publishes their own advert and is responsible for what it says, so please make your own checks before you pay anything — see our Safe Buying Tips.
Can I adopt instead of buying?
Yes — browse the Adopt section for cats and kittens listed by rescues, shelters, and owners rehoming their pets.
What if I have a problem with a seller?
The sale is a private matter between you and the seller, so we cannot mediate it, reverse a payment, or arrange a refund. You can still report a listing or an account to us from the Contact page and we will review it against our Terms.
