Owners prepared to test hearing and to keep a possibly deaf cat safely indoors.

Care

Simple coat care. Ask the breeder for a hearing test result, and protect white skin from strong sun.

History of the breed

Recorded in the Tamra Maew, the Thai cat poems written between the 14th and 18th centuries, and kept at the court of King Rama V, who is said to have valued them highly. The first breeding pair left Thailand for the United States only in 1999.
